Quick answer
Choose Rogers 4350B for RF and microwave designs needing tight Dk stability and the lowest loss. Choose Megtron 6 for high-speed digital (56–112G) where you need low loss at lower cost and better multilayer processability. Many designs use both in a mixed-dielectric stackup.
Dielectric constant and loss
Rogers 4350B offers very stable Dk (~3.48) with low loss tangent, ideal for phase-sensitive RF. Megtron 6 has slightly higher loss than Rogers but far lower than standard FR-4, and laminates well into thick multilayer stackups.
Cost and processability
Megtron 6 is more cost-effective and easier to build into high-layer-count boards. Rogers is the choice when RF performance is non-negotiable.
When to mix
Hybrid stackups place Rogers on the RF layers and Megtron 6 or FR-4 elsewhere, balancing performance and cost. We stock both.
